It promises to be a nice sunny day for our Round 3 on Saturday morning! We will be running Program 3.
U6 - U8 families: Please arrive by 8:15am for warm-up and an 8:30am start.
U9 - U17 families: This round includes walks at the start of the session and staggered start times. Please refer to the program. If you wish to participate in the walks, please join us at the start line at the tennis court side of the back straight a few minutes before the start time of your age group.
Duties
U6 families: Your first chance to experience a set-up duty. Please arrive at the club rooms at 7:30am and sign in to have your duty recorded, then come and see us. Don’t worry - it’s easy and we’ll show you what to do. You are also on BBQ and Canteen duty for Session 1.
U11 families: You are on pack-up duty. Please remember to sign out when we are finished packing up. In addition, you’re in charge of BBQ and Canteen in Session 2.
Front Straight and Back Straight scanning: Any age group! Fastest fingers first.
For all mid-session duties: Please sign up for the duty at the start of the session, grab a vest and ensure you have your name recorded on the duty sheet in the club room! To make your planning easier, we have scheduled the entire season on our duty page.
Help needed
We are still looking for permanent team manager for the U6 girls. You don't need to be a skilled athlete or coach to do this - key is to guide the team to the events. We will help you, and you get a committee discount fee for the year.
Chest patches
Please remember that chest patches are mandatory. They are proof of registration and insurance, assist us with addressing the kids and speed up the process at the finish line.
All fully registered and financial athletes: your team manager will have your chest patch ready.
Trial athletes: Please see us in the club room before the session to tick your name off against the list of registered trial athletes. If you were here last week, bring your chest patch along. New trial athletes: We’ll have a stack of chest patches ready for you. You can also print out the chest patch which you have received from LAVIC with your registration.
Other info and Relays
Please remember to bring hats, sunscreen and drink bottles and wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Drinks, snacks and BBQ will be available for purchase. Uniforms will be available for sale at the clubroom.
