U13-17 families: Pack-up duty. Please remember to only sign out when we are finished packing up. In addition, you’re in charge of BBQ and Canteen in Session 2.
Front Straight and Back Straight scanning: Any age group! Fastest fingers first.
To make your planning easier, we have scheduled the entire season on our duty page.
Coles Community Round:
Coles is a big sponsor of Little Athletics Victoria and provides us with our free bananas every week. This round is our Coles Community Round. We encourage all athletes to be creative and wear something in Coles colours. Every team manager will have one $10 Coles voucher to give away to the best-dressed athlete!
Help needed
We need an additional starter. Job requirements: Needs to be observant, assertive and precise, and needs to be available for the 8:30am session. All technical skills will be trained; no previous knowledge required. The successful applicant will receive a personal whistle. Please reply to this email or come and see us on Saturday if you'd like to give it a shot (literally...).
Other info
Please remember to bring hats, umbrellas, sunscreen and drink bottles. Drinks, snacks and BBQ will be available for purchase. Uniforms will be available for sale as well, and our coffee master Lenny and his team will have their famous hot and cold drinks ready.
I think we're all slowly getting used to the Saturday weather pattern. We will monitor the situation and make a final decision on Saturday morning. Please keep an eye on all our channels. If you don’t hear from us, we’re on.
This is the last Saturday morning round at Mentone for 3 weeks. Next week is Mentone Relay Day on Sunday, and the week after, we are at the regional relay carnival in Frankston. Our next regular session at Mentone will be Round 7 on Saturday 28. November.
Go Mentone!
