Round 2 - This Saturday 10. October
After the rather damp and short attempt to kick off our season, we’re back on the track this Saturday 10 October and are looking forward to run a full session with everyone. We will be running Program 2.
U6 - U8 families: Please arrive by 8:15am for guided warm-up and an 8:30am start
U9 - U17 families: Please arrive at 9:45am for individual warm-up and a 10am start.
Duties:
U7 families: This is your first chance for a set-up duty. Please arrive at 7:30am and sign in to have your duty recorded. You are also on BBQ and Canteen duty for Session 1
U12 families: Pack-up duty. Please remember to sign out when we are finished packing up. In addition, you’re in charge of BBQ and Canteen in Session 2.
Front Straight and Back Straight scanning: Any age group! Fastest fingers first.
U8s: since you missed out on the setup last week, please feel free to join in if you’d like to register a duty!
For all mid-session duties: Please sign up for the duty at the start of the session, grab a vest and ensure you have your name recorded on the duty sheet in the club room! To make your planning easier, we have scheduled the entire season on our duty page.
Chest patches:
Please remember that chest patches are mandatory. They are proof of registration and insurance, assist us with addressing the kids and speed up the process at the finish line.
All fully registered and financial athletes: your team manager will have your chest patch ready.
Trial athletes: Please see us in the club room before the session. We’ll have a stack of chest patches ready for you and will also tick your name off against the registered trial list. You can also print out the chest patch which you have received from LAVIC with your registration.
Other info:
We are still looking for team managers for our U6 girls and U7 boys! This is a great opportunity to be involved and work directly with the age group of your athlete. Team managers receive a committee discount for the season as well and are exempt from general duties. Please contact us if you can assist!
Drinks, snacks and BBQ will be available for purchase. Uniforms will be available for sale as well. Our coffee crew is also looking forward to seeing you all!
Please remember hats, sunscreen and drink bottles and wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
