Relay Season Registration and Round 2 Wrap-Up

Relays are a big deal for our Centre and we look forward to all of our U8 and older Athletes getting involved once again.

The season starts with Mentone Relay Day on Sunday 16th November - only a month away! We have full events for U9 and older, with U8 Athletes participating in our lunchtime Shuttle Relay.

One week later our U9 and older teams will be at Frankston LAC for the Southern Metro Region Relays Carnival. Successful teams will then progress to the State Relay Championships at Lakeside Stadium on Saturday/Sunday 13th and 14th December.

To help our Team Managers organise our teams, it’s essential that you register your interest in relay season. Please click here for the registration form and remember to repeat the form for each child participating. Please pay close attention to the parent-duties requirements - these events can’t proceed without everyone’s help. Once registered, please communicate with your Team Manager using Team App.

Congratulations to Olivia Chaplin for equalling our U12G 100m Centre Record with a time of 13.51s at Round 2 last Saturday. It’s really hard to achieve PBs this early in the season, so a special mention goes out to Aria Tjahjana for achieving PBs in 2 out of 3 events. Please click here for the full report.
