Mentone Relay Day 2023-24 - Sunday 12th November

Our 40th Mentone Relay Day is on Sunday 12th November 2023 at Dolamore Reserve, corner Queen and Second Street, Parkdale 3195. It's the biggest day of the year for Mentone LAC, with hundreds of teams from other Centres joining us at Dolamore for an exciting day of Relay action!

REGISTRATIONS - Mentone families, please register via your Team Manager. Guest Centre Families, please register via your Centre (not directly to Mentone LAC). Centres, please click here for the entry form. Multi-class Athletes welcome!!

PARKING - Parking is available in the surrounding streets but please consider car-pooling as parking is limited. Please take care to obey all signs, don't park over driveways, on nature strips or in the tennis club carpark. Allow time to walk in to the venue from a few streets away.
MAP - Click here for a map showing entry/exit gates and a basic layout for the event. There is no gate entry fee.
TENTS - Centres, please drop tents off early to avoid the crowds and note PEGS ARE NOT ALLOWED (sorry). The gate towards the tennis-club along First Street will be open all day.
CALL ROOM - The call room will be located behind the storage sheds near the clubrooms and will open 30 mins before each race time.
TEAM MANAGERS - We will have a TM briefing at 8:30am at the Presentation Area.
WARM-UP AREA - The warm-up area will be behind the call room.
UNIFORMS - Centre uniforms preferred, chest patches and Coles patches required as per LAVic rules. Spikes may be worn by U11 and older in all events, must be conical/pyramidal and no more than 7mm in length.
PROTESTS - No protests will be accepted.

FOOD - We'll have the following:

Sausage Sizzle

Food and coffee van

Ice-cream van.

Lollies and drinks available from our canteen.
FACE PAINTING - We'll have free face painting available from 11 until around 3pm.
PARENTS' RELAY - We'll hold a parent shuttle relay during the lunchbreak. Join in and do your Centre proud, but please warm-up properly!
DOGS - Please do NOT bring dogs to Mentone Relay Day. It's going to be far too busy to have our four-legged friends with us as well.
2022-23 Wrap Up
A big thank you to Community Bank - Parkdale and everyone who attended or assisted at our 39th Mentone Relay Day. We had 556 teams entered! Congratulations to Berwick LAC for taking home the Peter Wilkie Shield. Full results were:

2021-22 Wrap Up
Congratulations to Caulfield for taking home the Peter Wilkie Shield at this year's Mentone Relay Day with 325 points, closely followed by Sandringham with 313 and Berwick on 270. Full shield results here.

2019 Wrap Up
Thanks to everyone who helped make Mentone Relay Day 2019 a great success, and congratulations to Sandringham, winners of the Peter Wilkie Shield for the third year running! Caulfield came in a close second, with Mentone bringing home 3rd place.
