Round 2 - This Saturday 14. October

Our next round is taking place on Saturday 14. October.  We will be running Program 2.

  • U6 - U8 families: Please arrive by 8:15am for a 8:30am start
  • U9 - U17 families: Please arrive at 9:45am for a 10am start.  U11 - you have a bit of extra time this week so can warm up at 10am.

Duties:
We can't run the session without help. Last week, we had extra committee members helping to get everything ready, but this week we need you or we will not be able start on time! Same goes for help during the session - we need parents to assist. You have all paid $75 in duty bond and this is the way to get it back.

  • U7 families: Set-up duty. Please arrive at 7:30am and sign in to have your duty recorded. 
  • U12 families: Pack-up duty. Please remember to sign out when we are finished packing up. 
  • For all mid-session duties: Please sign up for the duty at the start of the session, grab a vest and ensure you have your name recorded at the Duty Board so we can count it for Duty Bond refunds. 

We are still short on permanent team managers for some age groups: U7 boys, U8 boys, U10 boys, U13 girls. You don't need to be a skilled athlete or coach to do this - key is to guide the team to the events and to organise measuring. We will help you, and you get a committee discount fee for the year. Please reach out if you can take it on.

Chest patches will be distributed by Team Managers for all registered athletes. Free trial athletes: please print your own as per the LAVic instructions or see us in the club room before the session. Uniforms will be available for sale as well.

Please remember to bring hats, sunscreen and drink bottles and wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

Drinks, snacks and BBQ will be available for purchase.

We're hopeful with the weather, but this is Melbourne so please keep an eye out. Urgent messages such as cancellations always go first out via Team App, then the website, social media and email.
