Notice of AGM 2020
Notice is hereby given of the Annual General Meeting of Mentone Little Athletics Centre Inc. on the 28th March 2020 at 1.30 pm at the Mentone LAC clubroom, Dolamore Reserve, Mentone.
The end of the season is fast approaching and we're a month away from our Presentations and AGM on the 28th March. Presentations will start at around 12.00pm with the AGM commencing at 1:30pm. We encourage all our Mentone Families to attend our AGM as we make plans for the 2020/21 season. Full agenda and Presentation Day schedule is coming soon.
The AGM is an excellent opportunity to step up and join the dedicated group of volunteers who run our centre. It's vital that we continuously involve new parents to ensure the club has sufficient volunteers to continue functioning as the current committee members retire.
If you can help in any way please contact our secretary at mentone@lavic.com.au. We offer a discount on membership fees for the children of committee members, team managers and starters.
We're always in need of parents to help with all aspects of running the club, including (but not limited to):
- starters
- relay day organisation
- equipment coordination
- financial management
- running the timing systems
- managing results
- managing duty rosters
- canteen and bbq coordination
- team managers
- sponsor relations
- track bookings
Joining the committee as a general committee member is a great way to get involved without taking on a specific role (which we understand can be daunting for new volunteers).
